Autumn is an unparalleled when it comes to setting gardens ablaze! Ripening fruits and vegetables add splashes of russets & reds to a (mostly) green urban vegetable garden. Pumpkins are beginning to really show their colours and perennial grasses are in “plume.” These edible gourds provide us with tons of inspiration for fall planter pots…

NEW arrivals @ the shop include some members of the carnivorous plant family; Sarracenia (pitcher plants), butterworts (pinguicula), and sundews (drosera). All these plants were grown LOCALLY and are 100% Canadian.

Some bulbs just give back all season, Allium being our favorite!
These flowers were in full-bloom from mid-June to early-July in shades of vibrant purple. When left alone in the garden, they dry into an unusual sphere, which is perfect to use in Autumn arrangements! Swing by the shop to grab a bunch and get creative!

Tillandsia, or air-plants, are epiphytes that make their home up in the trees in mostly tropical regions of the world.
